Application Developer

The Application Developer will join a team of highly skilled developers to develop, maintain, and test the code base of the EXTENSION product suite. Candidates must be ready to hit the ground running and contribute immediately.

Key Duties:

  • Develop software
  • Take part in design process
  • Document designs and test cases for functionality developed
  • Take part in peer code review

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of Java Enterprise development
  • Familiarity with Ruby
  • Knowledge of the Linux platform
  • Understanding of Web Service architecture, including SOAP and REST
  • Past experience with software design process
  • Previous experience in high performance software development

Implementation Specialist

The Implementation Specialist will provide a variety of project management and technical tasks related to the implementation of the EXTENSION product suite. This position will include a wide range of responsibilities working with several systems that the EXTENSION product suite integrates with. Candidates must be ready to hit the ground running and contribute immediately.

Key Duties:

  • Project manage the implementation of EXTENSION solutions including formal project management documentation
  • Answer technical questions regarding product functionality
  • Configure product in preparation for demonstrations, trials, and production installations either remotely, or onsite with customers directly
  • Conduct end-user and system administrator training
  • Understand technical requirements of an opportunity of a solution and provide a configuration using EXTENSION

Requirements:

  • 3+ years healthcare project management, IT support, or implementation
  • Experience with interfacing healthcare systems
  • Experience with HL7, Web Services integration, Cisco Unified Communications are preferred
  • This position will require 25-40% travel
  • The ability to take initiative and work independently is essential
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant program is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence others without formal authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Project Manager

The Project Manager will provide a variety of project management tasks related to the implementation of the EXTENSION product suite. This position will include a wide range of responsibilities working with several systems that the EXTENSION product suite integrates with. Candidates must be ready to hit the ground running and contribute immediately.

Key Duties:

  • Formally track, document, assign tasks, and report on the status of the implementation
  • Document the standard policies and procedures of the project management team
  • Provide integration support, advice, and direction on all production, trial, or lab implementations of an EXTENSION solution
  • Work with customers and partners to develop integration plans
  • Participate in onsite or remote pre-sales customer conversations as an implementation specialist speaking to past implementation experience
  • Provide necessary onsite workflow assessments pre or post sales
  • Provide training to end-users
  • Lead weekly project status calls

Requirements:

  • 2+ years healthcare project management, IT support, or implementation
  • Experience with interfacing healthcare systems is preferred
  • Experience with HL7, Web Services integration, Cisco Unified Communications, are preferred
  • This position will require 10-30% travel
  • The ability to take initiative and work independently is essential
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant program is preferred
  • A PMP or other Project Management certification is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence other without formal authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Quality Assurance Engineer

The QA Engineer will help ensure the quality and reliability of the EXTENSION® product suite.  This position will include a wide range of responsibilities working with several systems that the EXTENSION product suite integrates with.  Candidates must be ready to hit the ground running and contribute immediately.

Key Duties:

  • Responsible for developing and executing test cases/scripts to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
  • Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, creating reusable test data, test case automation, and test execution.
  • Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed; i.e., perform manual static testing.
  • Select and develop appropriate test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in test automation; e.g., data-driven testing.
  • Work with the development team to capture and reuse automated unit test cases, test stubs and drivers, and other development test objects.
  • Create and maintain an automated nightly build verification (“smoke”) test.
  • Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.
  • Research and document bug reports following agreed-upon processes immediately upon discovery of a quality problem.
  • Trace test cases and results back to specific quality risks

Requirements:

  • Familiarity and experience with command line interface
